CLM Midwest is a regional commercial facility maintenance contractor with a local presence who partners with some of the nation's leading retail, convenience store, and restaurant brands. We are a long-established, self-performing company that provides install, break/fix, and emergency services. This career opportunity is available because we have grown our technician team across several regions and need additional coverage and daily routing.
As a Dispatcher, you will utilize the company work order management system to effectively schedule service technicians and ensure that customer commitments are met. This includes dispatching service technicians according to the schedule, receiving customer calls and adjusting schedule as required, successfully completing and closing out calls, and creating accurate completed work order records ready to be priced and invoiced. Our technicians are pros who focus primarily on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other miscellaneous handyman projects. This role is a great experience for anybody looking to build their career in operations and project management.

Responsibilities:
Providing daily updates on open work orders via customer portal and emailInterface with internal account management and finance teamsDrafts and submits quotesManages and dispatches appropriate service technician/subcontractor to satisfy customer service request based on skills, nature of the request, location of request, and location of technician/subcontractorProvides status updates on each work order to customers including pictures and appropriate documentation/notesCreates purchase ordersNegotiates rates with subcontractorsResponsible for resolving billing discrepancy issues/questionsRequirements
Successful candidates for the role of Dispatcher are highly motivated and are able to triage existing calls, incoming work orders, and future projects. Our Dispatchers are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to solve problems in an efficient and logical way.
College degree or equivalent work experiencePrevious experience coordinating service technicians or crews, projects, subcontractors is a plusStrong ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-taskProfessional phone and electronic communicationExperience using WOM systems is a plus (ie. Service Channel, Corrigo, customer specific systems, etc)Routing experienceTrades and facilities experience is a plus
