The Opportunity _
The Student Enrollment and Data Team is focused on ensuring that schools are fully enrolled so that students are free to create the future they want for themselves and their communities. The team supports this vision through application acquisition and family onboarding, cultivation, and persistence. The Regional Manager of Student Recruitment (SRM) is responsible for developing a regional annual student in-field recruitment plan to
achieve our organization’s application goals. This person will manage, coach, and hold the Recruitment & Community Coordinator(s) in their region accountable to meet their weekly and annual application goals. To be successful in this role, a SRM brings a track record for designing and implementing successful recruitment and/or sales strategies. They have experience building and maintaining relationships with city and neighborhood
partners like nonprofit organizations, business, residential complexes, daycares, and more. A SRM is data-driven and is actively making pivots in strategy based on application and enrollment numbers. They are comfortable working in an environment that requires you to project manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines, while never losing sight of the overarching goals and desired outcomes. A SRM must be available to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends as they will be expected to meet their own individual application targets.

Key Responsibilities _
Recruitment Planning and Progress Monitoring
● Devise, manage, and implement regional recruitment strategies that support the recruitment of students wishing to attend KIPP Texas in line with set targets
● Provide each Recruitment and Community Coordinator with their weekly field plan
● Responsible for reaching out and maintaining relationships with city-wide and neighborhood partners for the sake of setting up recruitment activities
● Supporting the team in collecting weekly application needs coming from the Student Recruitment team in the region by either participating in community events, phone banking, block walking, or tabling
● Identify, attend, and evaluate a range of student recruitment events including recruitment fairs, exhibitions, seminars, school visits, community-organized events, presentations at community partners, etc.
● Responsible for collecting and providing real-time feedback to the Recruitment and Community Coordinator in the field to improve recruitment practice
● Track investment and outcome of every recruitment activity to track return on investment
● Elicit, communicate with, and train school volunteers interested in participating in in-field recruitment efforts on an ongoing basis Team Development & Regional Operating Mechanism Participation
● Holds weekly check-ins with direct reports, participates in quarterly meetings with peers, and shapes the professional development opportunities available to our recruiters statewide alongside the Director
● Progress monitors weekly application acquisition by the regional Student Recruitment team and makes pivots as needed to exceed weekly application goal
● Works cross-functionally with other regional operations leaders and voices over student recruitment efforts in bi-weekly Regional Ops Cabinet meetings
● Ensures that the regional recruitment team has the tools they need by procuring regional collateral and swag resources for successful event set-up and information distribution
Data Analysis & Reporting Progress to Regional Stakeholders
● Tracks and analyzes daily application progress to identify grade-level gaps and a course of action for our team
● Oversees critical SchoolMint actions which include applying priority validations, removing duplicate and current student applications, and updating unconfirmed addresses
● Reports out on a bi-weekly basis to APOs and School Leaders enrollment progress on schools in their region; Planning & participation in meetings with regional leaders as needed
● Participates in the School Operations and regional APO tactical meetings as needed to share relevant recruitment updates
Other duties as assigned.

Experience _
● Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful student recruitment strategies and
delivering recruitment activities in an education context. Or, 3-4 years of experience with sales / recruitment-related work preferably in a business, nonprofit, education, community engagement, or
advocacy organization.
● Strong evidence of meeting ambitious targets.
● Proven experience of managing staff with ability to motivate team members to meet targets.
● Strong cultural competency skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population

● Must have reliable transportation to travel between campuses and to and from community events/meetings
● Highly fluent in spoken and written Spanish required

Salary is based on years of experience, degree of education, and level of expertise.
