Advanced Practice Provider- Urology
Hiring range: $109,130 - $128,979
Offer rates are based on experience. Offer rates at the higher end of the range are only for applicants with many years of experience
We are seeking a board certified/board eligible Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our busy , outpatient Urology practice. This position is a full-time, hospital employed position, Monday through Friday with minimal call rotation.
Responsibilities include:
Provide comprehensive urological care to patients.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.
Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.
Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed.
Educate patients on disease prevention and urologic health.
Demonstrate effective and detailed documentation skills.
Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout patients’ care.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.
Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.
Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Experience with female urology preferred.
Required Credential(s): • Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant
• Education: • Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date OR
• Certified and Registered Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.
Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English
