Powersports Assembly Technician

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Powersports assembly technician to join our team at Scranton Powersports in Vernon, Connecticut. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for assembling, servicing, and repairing powersports vehicles such as motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercrafts, and snowmobiles. This is a full-time, salaried position in the powersports industry, with opportunities for career advancement and growth.

Responsibilities:- Assemble and prep new powersports vehicles, including installation of components, fluids, and accessories- Perform routine maintenance and service on both new and used vehicles- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on powersports vehicles- Thoroughly document all work performed and recommendations for additional services or repairs- Communicate with customers and service advisors to provide updates and address any concerns- Continuously maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures and guidelines- Keep up-to-date on industry developments and attend training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience as a powersports technician or in a similar role- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills- Familiarity with a wide range of tools, including power tools and diagnostic equipment- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements- Valid driver's license and clean driving record Motorcycle license a plus but not required
