Analyst, Finance & Operations

Our client, a prominent investment firm, is seeking an Analyst to join their Finance & Operations (FAO) team. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the firm’s investment vehicles. The position offers the opportunity to support multi-strategy private equity investment funds and contribute to the accuracy of financial records and timely execution of financial transactions. This role will be based in San Francisco, with in-office work required three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Responsibilities

Save and catalogue documents related to fund investments within the firm’s instance of Microsoft SharePoint.

Retrieve, save, and catalogue bank statements.

Monitor monthly cash transactions with the custodian bank and reconcile bank accounts.

Maintain books/records within Sage Intacct and/or Allvue along with supporting workpapers.

Support interim quarter-end accounting closes and reporting.

Assist with providing cash flow forecasting as needed.

Support preparation of year-end audited financial statements.

Compensation:

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $90K - $110K per year.
