Position Summary:
Bamboo Equity Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the team. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the firm's investment activities, including financial modeling, budgeting, due diligence, and portfolio management. We are a vertically integrated collection of companies, so the Financial Analyst will interact with senior leadership and collaborate across company lines with visibility into Leasing, Brokerage, Accounting, Property Management, Construction, Multifamily, and Architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
Manage asset-level operating and financial metrics by aggregating and validating data related to tenant rent rolls, expense recoveries, capital, debt service, and more. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to provide projected property-level cash flows and valuations. Produce regular reporting for company stakeholders and lenders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee and manage the financial aspects of construction disbursements, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, budget tracking, and compliance with contractual terms. Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and strategic objectives. Calculate property-level investment metrics and provide sensitivity analyses for potential leasing, redevelopment, and sale scenarios. Review and help facilitate any transactions between the properties and the fund level, including capital calls, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and fee payments. Review of month-end asset level financial statements to ensure conformity to GAAP. Coordinate with external auditors and tax firms on annual financial statements, ensuring timely completion of audits and tax returns. Assist in managing fund and property liquidity, including review of expenses and allocations. Interact daily with other internal stakeholders including senior-level managers and brokerage, leasing, property management, accounting, marketing, architecture, and construction teams. Assist with market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact current and potential investments. Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and provide ongoing analysis to support strategic decision-making. Perform ad-hoc analysis requests, as needed. Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. CFA or MBA is a plus. 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a related field. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Intermediate-to-Advanced MS Excel proficiency. Proficiency with other tool in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and a strong understanding of the industry landscape a plus
