Overview
Performs statistical and accounting duties for CentraState Medical Center.Responsibilities
Completes accurate budgets for all for-profit corporations.
Ensures Foundation restricted and unrestricted accounts are accurate.Maintains cash flow requirement for all Senior Services, Foundation, Freehold Ventures and Wellness Center.Maintains daily cash receipts reports for Foundation and Senior Services entities.Maintains monthly fix asset system and preparing reconciliations for audit purposes.Prepares 990 non-for-profit tax returns for Foundation and Senior Services entities.Prepares monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L) for the three Senior Services entities, Foundation, Wellness Center and Freehold Ventures in accordance with GAAP.Prepares audit worksheets for external audit purposes.Prepares census and payer mix reports for Senior Services entities.Prepares accurate bank reconciliations and resolves discrepancies.Prepares all Research department reporting requirements as Grant application require.Reconciles Medicaid Pending analysis.Enhances the effectiveness of external WEB support systems to improve banking and computer support services and systems.Identifies procedures needing improvement and recommends appropriate correction action to management.Prepares accurate analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepares monthly inter-company reconciliation.Reviews lease agreements with management.Reviews financial computer systems and interfaces between systems, and recommends enhancements to streamline departmental work-flow and improve departmental efficiencies.Utilizes system report writers to produce custom reports for finance and other departments as needed.Maintains cash flow requirement for all for-profit corporations.Maintains daily cash receipts reports for for-profit corporations.Coordinates all financial computer systems and reporting. Implements monthly limited closings on financial systems for Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, etc interfaces.#ind-csQualifications
Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.Work Experience:Five (5) years of accounting in a healthcare facility is required.Required Knowledge and Skills:Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.About Us
