The Clinician will be responsible for providing standardized screening,assessment, service planning and referral services for family members who are interestedin receiving Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) services at the Family Resource Center (FRC).The Clinician shall ensure that all Family Members experiencing CRA-related issues areconnected to services that meet their individual needs and shall ensure that there is aprocess established to provide information and referral and direct assistance wherepossible for individual Family Members. S/he will accept and display the values of caring,honesty, respect and responsibility.
Program Responsibilities:Work with the Family Partner, as a team to:Describe CRA-related services to family members experiencing CRA-relatedissues and ask if they want to participate voluntarily in the CRA-relatedservices offered by the Family Resource Center. If family members choose toaccess CRA-related services, the following services will be provided:Complete CRA Screening and Intake;Administer a modified Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths andStrengths (CANS Assessment for family members experiencing CRA related issues called the FAST)Develop a Family Support Plan;Work with family members experiencing CRA-related issues toarrange referrals and follow up;If family members choose not to participate in an intake andscreening for CRA-related services, encourage them to participatein the Basic and Network Services offered in the Family ResourceCenter;Provide and assist with support groups if the need is identified andthe Family Resource Center is unable to find proper support amongpartner agencies;Participate in Family Resource Center staff meetings, communitymeetings and events.Maintain confidential clinical case records and a Family Support Plan, tobe reviewed on an annual basis, or as needed, by appropriate FamilyResource staff, EOHHS, DCF and the ASO.
Attend Attleboro Juvenile Court for Pre-CRA hearings on the specified days determined by the courts.Attend Attleboro Juvenile Court for CRA hearings on thespecified days determined by the courts.Completes required documentation in a timely manner, adhering to thehighest professional standards.
Participate in group supervision with the FRC team, individual supervisionwith the Program Manager and clinical supervision with the Director of theMental Health Clinic.Demonstrate a continued awareness and commitment to cultural diversity,religious and personal values and traditions of persons served and theirfamilies in order to accomplish the OCY mission.Demonstrate a continued awareness and knowledge of agency policies,practices, and procedures. Adhere to agency regulations, rules andprotocols.Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Must be 21 years or older.Must have a Masters' degree.Must have at least three years of experience as a licensed clinician, as well ascertification in, and experience administering the Massachusetts Child and AdolescentNeeds and Strengths (CANS) Assessment.
