Novato Unified School District (NUSD) has approximately 800 staff members who, along with the larger school community, are responsible for the education of 7,400 students. We have eight elementary schools, including one dual-language immersion, one TK-8 school, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. NUSD also has an Alternative Education Center housing a continuation school and an independent study student program serving grades K-12. All schools within Novato Unified offer special education services, along with Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), and special assistance is provided for all English learner students.

Job Summary

Novato Unified School District is seeking a Night Custodian I, working Wednesday through Sunday from 3pm-11pm at Novato High School. This 40 hour per week position includes: Kaiser, Delta Dental/Vision Service Plan (VSP), California Public Employee Retirement (CalPERS), vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails. Novato Unified's mission is to engage, inspire and empower all students, in a rapidly changing world, to realize their life goals.
