The University of Chicago\'s Department of Medicine, Section of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, is searching for part-time Clinical Associates at 50% effort who specialize in hospice and palliative medicine for renewable terms of up to two years. Appointees will have a mix of clinical responsibilities in the inpatient and outpatient settings and primarily focus on growing the inpatient palliative medicine consultation service line. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
