This generally includes ownership of the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission, contract negotiations, pricing, contract review, team agreements and document management.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Possesses extensive government contracts experience to support existing and new business activitiesResearches and analyzes specific requirements, relevant salary data, and established prices to develop pricing and budget workbooks for new bidsAssist in the preparation of the pricing volume for IDIQ proposalsAssembling final proposal documents in Word, Excel and AdobeNegotiating contract terms and conditions with clientsPreparing flow down clauses for subcontractsReviews, develops and negotiates non-disclosure, teaming, and subcontract agreements while ensuring protection for the company in all partnership arrangementsResponsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws/regulationsUpdates contracts and company information in government systems and databasesObtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agenciesMinimum Requirements :
5 - 10 years contract management experience requiredBachelor's degree in a related fieldMust be able to communicate effectively with government and industry contracting personnelExtensive government and commercial contracts experience to support existing and new business activities. Heavy emphasis on cost proposal preparation, and development of terms and conditionsPossess strong background/understanding of contract management, including bid strategy, proposal preparation, development/negotiation of terms/conditions, and contract change processesMust be able to communicate effectively with government and industry contracting personnelExecutes the activities in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate at all levels within the company and with industry partners
