Description
SynQor is seeking a first-shift Material Handler to join our Shipping/Receiving/Warehousing team. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The Material Handler works primarily on material transfer throughout our fast-paced electronics manufacturing facility.
General Responsibilities:
Pick and transport material to assist the entire manufacturing processProcess material transactions across multiple points of the factoryMaintain physical inventoryEnsure proper labeling and documentation of materialsGeneral Shipping and receiving as requiredPerform Oracle/STS transactionsMaterial Transfer (80%)
Move material across the facility to keep manufacturing lines movingResponsible for pickup across production environmentProvide overall support across manufacturing to transport parts and productsFinished Goods Inventory
Receive materials from ManufacturingIssue materials into Finished Goods warehouseEnsure all materials are placed and stored in the correct locationAssist in cycle counts in finished goodsReceive Inbound Materials
Receive materials from Purchase OrdersDeliver materials to requisitioning department(s)Scanning & Labeling (20%)
Assist in labeling and scanning product for shipmentProcesses changes in part numbers through scanning and relabeling materials throughout manufacturing as neededEducation and Experience:
High School Education/GEDExperience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailRequired Skills:
Ability to lift 15-20 pounds, sometimes up to 50 poundsStrong attention to detailAbility to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standingExcellent communication skillsBasic computer skills
