What you will doAs a Consulting Manager, you will lead programs, set strategic direction for our engagements and align resources to delight our clients. You will utilize your love for critical thinking, sourcing and supplier management to partner with our clients to drive tangible results.
You'll be part of GEP’s Global Delivery Consulting Team and build relationships both with our clients and across the firm while we continue to expand in various verticals. You will act as an advisor while creating a successful team culture and coaching others.
What You Will Do:
Lead renewable energy consulting projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
Collaborate with clients to assess energy systems, develop customized strategies for renewable energy integration, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Develop proposals and respond to RFPs, working with internal and external stakeholders to design tailored solutions and foster business partnerships.
Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and resource allocation.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, addressing conflicts and performance issues constructively.
What you should bring
BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus.
Energy industry experience with project management experience and prior success in Procurement and Supply Chain related areas.
Demonstrated proficiency with project management processes and tools including CPM scheduling, budget analysis and controls, change management, and team management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and strategies to the clients.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
Proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for sustainability and driving the adoption of renewable energy solutions.
Extensive experience in management consulting or procurement, including strategic sourcing, spend analysis, and supplier relationship management.
Ability to travel to client site up to 75%.
