We're looking for an analytical and driven individual to join the Global Merchandise Excellence team to help advance our merchandising capabilities in North America. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to evaluate merchandising results and contribute to improving our item data quality. The ideal candidate has solid analytical and prioritization skills, as well as a good ability to summarize results and strong communication skills. This role reports into the Sr Manager of Merchandising Planning and Data.
What You Will Do
Here are just a few ways that you'll help make journeys better:
Leverage available reporting and dashboards to provide timely insights on merchandise performance in a way that facilitates data driven decision making.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to build and deploy reporting related to strategic merchandising initiatives.
Analyze key merchandising pillars performance (pricing, promotion, assortment, etc) and effectively communicate complex findings to non-analytical peers.
Assist in item data management, governance, and item master data quality requirements with other functional data owners
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality.
Support the annual planning process and ongoing performance review of key merchandising initiatives.
Identify and make recommendations to improve existing processes.
Provide analytical support to the Global Merchandise Excellence team, working on ad-hoc cross-functional merchandising projects as required.
What You Need
We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or another analytical field.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in data analysis; project management experience a plus.
Experience working on data quality analysis is an asset.
Strong analytical skillset with the ability to effectively manage priorities and risks.
Ability to listen, be resourceful, and interpret information from a variety of sources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills to include navigational ability in a networked environment and proficiency in Microsoft Word and email applications. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and other data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau). Experience with SQL is a plus.
Due to global scope of the role working across time zones, flexibility around working hours is required.
