Discovery Point is a senior living community with 183 units.

For this position, we are seeking a dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional and communicative.

Must have a

minimum of one (1) year of experience in housekeeping

or a related field.

Compensation:

$16/hr + Benefits!

Qualification Requirements:

The requirements listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:• High school diploma or GED.• Ability to speak, read and write in English.• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.• Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required• Ability to complete online and in person company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.• Possess basic computer-literacy and willingness to complete regular tasks using standard computer or web-based technology.

Essential Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations:• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner at all times.• Accurately record time worked, adhere to time keeping guidelines, obtain approval for any overtime and coordinate your schedule with your supervisor to account for company training and to avoid overtime.• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships between departments and with coworkers.• Constantly strive for improvements in work process and results to better meet resident needs, ownership goals and objectives, and company standards and expectations.• Clean resident apartments according to schedule, including but not limited to the following responsibilities: Vacuuming carpets and spot cleaning as needed; Cleaning ceilings and walls; Dusting furniture, shelves, light fixtures and other surfaces; Cleaning bathroom, including shower stall, sink, toilet, counter, and floor; Cleaning kitchenette, including sink, counter, refrigerator and floor; Defrost refrigerator as needed; Removing trash and used bed linens and towels for laundering; Replacing bed linens and towels; Cleaning windows as directed; Deep clean resident apartments according to schedule.• Clean facility common areas according to schedule, including but not limited to the following responsibilities: Vacuuming carpets and spot cleaning as needed; Mopping floors; Cleaning ceilings and walls; Dusting furniture, shelves, light fixtures and other surfaces; Cleaning restrooms, including sinks, toilets, counters, and floors; Removing trash; Cleaning windows as directed; Deep clean facility common areas according to schedule.• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Executive Director.
