Screens, evaluates, and treats PatientsCompletes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and proceduresReviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindicationEstablishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or functionSupervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team membersINDPT
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Physical TherapyCurrent licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practiceMust have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and staffMust be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
