Our client is a private investment platform that owns and operates restaurants throughout the United States. The firm currently operates 140+ restaurants and has a large pipeline of acquisitions to fuel continued growth through 2025 and beyond. It currently employs over 5,000 people with revenues eclipsing $225,000,000. Our client holds ambitious growth goals and is seeking to acquire over 100 restaurants by 2027 as well as expand into other industries, including convenience and gas and manufacturing. This role will work in a collaborative, team environment on both operations and acquisition opportunities, with a focus on assisting with the underwriting of targets through valuation, financial analysis and market research.Responsibilities:Underwriting - spearhead the underwriting process for new investment and development opportunities for the company in the retail and industrial sectors.Investment Presentations - create investment and lender presentations with supporting documents and analysis for perspective acquisitions.Acquisitions - execute acquisitions with a well-seasoned team of investment professionals.Oversee research and due diligence process throughout the transaction lifecycle.Manage external third-party vendors and advisors.Capital Markets - support the team with existing and new financings, evaluating capital structure alternatives and responding to lender requests.Investment Management - monitor active investments and assist in creating detailed quarterly reports.Forecasts / budgets - Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and long-term forecasts for portfolio companies, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statementsOrganize and present market data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendationsCreate and present Excel Spreadsheet analysisQualifications:Transaction experience: 1-4 years at a top tier investment bank or investment firm (private equity, or family office).High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically with an emphasis on financial modeling and PowerPointDetail-oriented with an ability to multitask. The position requires great attention to detail.Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, and written communication).Bachelor's Degree in a Business related major such as Real Estate, Finance or Economics preferred
