Summary:The Auditor will work within a team consulting and auditing both financials and contracts for a government agency. Will review individual contracts to ensure the awardee can meet the requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

Perform Government audit of contracts for financial assistance to Government Auditing Standards.Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting and accounting transactions.Processes include controls related to federal entities.Review and evaluate complex federal financial statements.Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to government.Prepare and provide recommendations to audited reports.Escalate identified issues and propose viable solutions.Assist with cost benefit analysis and reporting.Develop and enhance management reporting.Assist and drive efficiency initiatives.Identify and participate in cost cutting initiatives.Lead integration of capital program with future acquisitions.Identify performance improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.3 + years of experience.Previous Audit Experience with DCAA policies and procedures.
