The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $65 million and a full-time staff of 400+.
We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor for The Doe Fund's newest permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The housing program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four-hour supportive services in a community environment that maximizes residents' independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. This 98-unit residence will provide housing for 49 individuals referred by the New York City HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA), and the remaining 49 units will be apartments for moderate-income households.
The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision to members of the clinical team. The successful candidate will have strong clinical and supervisory skills along with experience working with the HIV/AIDS population and the ability to cover some evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:Assist the Program Director with the day-to-day operations of the supportive housing programConduct regular supervision (individual and group) with the members of the clinical team and maintain an accurate record of each supervisory meetingReview referral applications and set up interviews for prospective residentsAssist the Program Director with the completion of various reportsConduct regular chart audits to ensure compliance with the standards of The Doe Fund and the AIDS InstituteMonitor and review resident Service Plans and ensure that other charting documents are recorded in an appropriate and timely mannerPerform or supervise the performance of psychosocial assessments for each residentCo-facilitate team meetings and case conferencesMaintain a directory of resources on HIV/AIDS services, substance abuse, mental health treatment, and services for seniorsCollaborate with all departments as it relates to the residents; assist in coordinating care and referrals with community agencies and hospitalsAssist with the development of quality assurance guidelines and procedures for the Clinical teamResponsible for the performance appraisals of clinical staffAttend all administrative meetings in the absence of the Program DirectorResponsible for program oversight in the absence of the Program DirectorOther duties as assignedThe Ideal Candidate:
A Master's Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university. LMSW or LMHC preferredMinimum of five years of post-Masters experience, 2-3 years of which should include supervisory experienceThe ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, mental illness, and homelessnessDemonstrated ability to inspire and motivate staff and residentsExcellent clinical and case management skillsSensitivity to community issues and needsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong ethical standards, confidentiality, and personal integrityFlexibility with schedule to cover some evening activitiesComputer proficiency (i.e., email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
