Clinical Research Coordinator III-Pittsburgh Wound Healing Centers
Job Summary
Prepares grant applications, manuscripts, Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, research papers, and assists with complex research papers. Audits research studies, monitors study budgets, resolves complex data collection issues, and implements protocol-specific study recruitment plans. Trains staff and oversees student workers; leads team meetings. Monitors study budgets and orders supplies.Essential Functions
This position requires travel to various wound care sites within the Pitt McGowan network. The individual in the role will conduct and is responsible for all study-related activities including screening & consent and enrollments, data collection/entry, and compliance with the regulatory process. The individual is encouraged to prepare strategies to improve enrollment/retention. May need to maintain and order supplies as needed. Will Assess protocol feasibility and establish protocol-specific recruitment plans. May be required to train junior staff and oversee the work of others as directed. Will be required to communicate effectively with study participants and potential community recruits. The job duties outlined above include common job responsibilities for this title and job level.
