The Master Planner will be responsible for managing and overseeing the production planning, scheduling and capacity planning functions for AGCCA Fluoro-compounds products. The position will have ownership for the sales & operations planning process, inventory management, lead-times, warehousing replenishment strategy, on-time delivery and master data management through the internal ERP system. This role must maintain a close working relationship with the Customer Service, Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Maintenance departments.

Essential Functions:

Develops and implements the master production schedule to meet customer demands and company objectives.Serves as primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, manufacturing, customer service, product management, supply chain and logistics.Analyzes and monitors the demand and supply trends and makes necessary adjustments to the plan.Monitors the progress of production, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action where needed.Optimizes resource allocation to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.Plans and manages inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and reduce excess while attaining overall company working capital targets.Prepares and presents regular reports on the performance of the master plan.Continually reviews and improves the planning process for better efficiency and effectiveness.Evaluates on-time delivery metric and understand root causes for misses. Assists in putting thorough corrective actions in place. Manages available to promise and capable to promise portion of schedules.Provides relevant and updated customer and item shipment date information to business stakeholders in an adequate manner using the ERP system and other relevant tools.Collaborates with purchasing to compare current and anticipated orders with available raw material inventory and projected raw material requirements.Ensures efficient manufacturing by optimizing campaign sizes, product sequencing and minimizing product changeover time.Establishes the demand and planning time fences, as well as policies for time fence management.Performs stock analysis to control finished goods and raw material inventories as owner of safety and cycle stocks.Works directly with production and technical leadership to schedule product and process trial work.Maximizes shipping efficiency and minimize costs for customer deliveries and warehouse transfers.Other duties and projects as assignedJob Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of planning experience with 5 years of experience in an automated planning/scheduling manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with high proficiency in ExcelProficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft D365 a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSound decision-making and management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Abilities to make rational, data-based decisions and influence people are critical.Entrepreneurial minded with the ability to lead and effect change
