MercyOne Dyersville is looking for physicians to add to the pool to help cover the emergency department!
Role: Emergency Room & Inpatientwilling to consider locum, locum to perm, and perm candidatesDates of coverage: PRNSchedule: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 7a-7a (48 hour shift max length)Total number of beds: 20Average daily inpatient census: 3-5Annual ER Volume: 1285-1400No supervision requiredEMR: CernerResponds to codes - all hands on deck for any codesTrauma level: 4No labor and delivery on site - only delivered in emergent circumstances and then transferred to tertiary facilityIf we cannot handle a patient due to complexity or diagnosis, the patient is referred to the other facilities. Primary facility is MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center: ~20 miles away. If MercyOne Dubuque cannot accept and/or treat for various reasons, then other referrals are sentAdditional practice details listed in attached job descriptionEstimated credentialing timeframe: 4-8 weeksMust be local - will only reimburse for mileageThey do have a call room available for providers on shift***Please Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.

Board Certified or Eligible: EM, FM, IM (no residents)Must be well versed in covering EMIA licenseProcedure logs required at time of submission for the past 12 monthsCovid & yearly fluMust be local - will only reimburse for mileageOther qualifications needed for credentialing: PPD two step skin test or lab draw required within the past 12 month (suggest lab draw, then no need for two PPDs) Immunizations required: Documentation or titers of MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap
