Credit Risk Manager

About the roleWe are seeking a Credit Risk Manager to provide analytical leadership and support for our portfolio of originations and optional protection products. This role involves leveraging data to understand business operations, analyze trends, and develop testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork and communication skills, along with the ability to independently manage a team and/or part of the analytical business. This position is based at our Kennesaw, GA office with a hybrid work arrangement.Key ResponsibilitiesUse data to develop a deep understanding of business operations and growth strategiesAnalyze existing strategies and develop improvementsProduce reports and analysis for portfolio and process performanceManage a team and/or coach and guide junior analystsQualifications and RequirementsDegree in an analytical major (Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc.)3 - 5 years of analytical or strategic experience; team management experience is a plusProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and TableauProficiency with database systems and/or software packages (ex: SQL, Python)Prior Collections experience with auto-dialers and other contact methods preferredCarMax is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
