Executive Director - NewVista Behavioral Health
The NewVista mission is to inspire hope and deliver holistic care to those in need of behavioral health services in a contemporary and healing environment - one that is conducive to providing the life skills needed to regain stability and independence, utilizing a passionate and highly trained team of professionals. With a blend of group therapy, clinical treatment and unique surroundings, our beautiful healthcare centers provide a safe, healing environment for adults and seniors with a variety of complex needs. We provide a serene environment that promotes medical, rehabilitative and emotional health, and are devoted to promoting greater peace of mind on the journey of hope and healing.
Located just outside of Columbus in Pickerington, Ohio, our new mental health residential facility provides holistic care to those in need of behavioral health services. The contemporary and healing environment of our facility allows our experienced team to offer individualized treatment programs that have a profoundly positive impact on the broad range of unique behavioral needs of the adult populations. Through a combination of group therapy, clinical treatment, our treatment plans are meant to promote wellness for those individuals struggling with emotional challenges, life changes and behavioral health issues such as anxiety, depression and anger triggered by loss or illness. Our shared goal is to foster an environment that is conducive to providing the life skills needed to regain stability and independence post treatment.
The Role Itself -Develops and executes strategic initiatives to achieve goals related to the successful operation of the overall strategic plan of the Behavioral Health Residential Facility.Provides for communication and interface with all NewVista divisions to insure integration and compliance with all relevant federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.Implements controls for the effective and efficient utilization of physical and financial resources and monitors a system of accountability for the budget of the facilityDevelops and maintains sound business relationships with key people in the community so as to promote the Center as a quality, professional Behavioral health services organization.Project Management
Responsible for supervision of program directors and marketing directors.Negotiate contracts with medical directors, third-party payors, community mental health centers and other agencies on behalf of various projects.Provide overview and supervision of JCAHO survey preparedness, Medicare surveys, state licensure surveys, as necessary.Develop new program specialties within projects.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or in a field of mental health or a related area.5+ years experience as a healthcare manager with
2 years experience in an Behavioral Health environment or other like setting.Ability to communicate effectively with center administrators, clinicians, and other professionals.Experience with hospital / healthcare facility finance and budgeting.Ability to conceptualize and develop programs, budgets, and related functions.Exceptional professionalismAbility to lead a teamTechnology and computer skills required.Perks at Work
