Our risk experts work together to assemble the right mix of products and services to help our clients stay competitive - from traditional reinsurance coverages, to niche and specialty reinsurance and insurance products.
The OpportunityAssist in audits/reviews of ceding companies to evaluate compliance with the accounting and reporting requirements of reinsurance contracts. Develop non-routine analytical skills and business acumen necessary to lead audits and identify errors and omissions.
Review and Analyze Contract, Underwriting, Claims and Accounting information in preparatio for ceding company reviews.Participate in reviews at ceding company and/or MGA offices, or remotely.Evaluate accuracy and completeness of ceding company reports.Identify cause/effect of errors and omissions. Develop recommendations for corrective actions.Prepare written reports explaining the findings of ceding company reviews.Assist in the follow-up on corrective action required as a result of ceding company reviews.Perform special projects under the direction of Account Services Management.Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess the following experience, skills, and capabilities:Bachelors Degree, major in accounting or financepreferred.Minimum 0-2 years accounting experience.Working knowledge of computers and software such as Access, Excel, or similar applications.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.Good communication.Position requires 25-30% scheduled travel and may require irregular work hours.
