The bakery business is our passion and this is your opportunity to be a member of our team.We are searching for a motivated & experienced Tool Crib AttendantReceives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as a normal practice.Follows all GMP. RegulationsFollows all company safety regulations.Follows all company policies.Creates Work Order reports to determine items to be gathered and kitted for Preventive Maintenance.Enters parts on Work Order computer records and assigns them to mechanic doing the Preventive MaintenanceKits Work Orders for Preventive Maintenance and delivers kits to job site with copy of Work Order.Returns unused parts to proper inventory location and updates maintenance database.Places materials or items on shelves, bins and safety cabinets according to inventory locations in the maintenance database.Keeps stockroom neat and orderly.Conducts a weekly random audit of inventory parts to make sure that computer quantities match those in inventory stockroom.Has working knowledge of spare parts used on production equipment to assist mechanics with selections.Coordinates stockroom operations with other shift tool/inventory attendants.Coordinates stockroom operations with Material Control ExpediterPlans stockroom operations with Tool Inventory Supervisor.Drives vehicle to transport stock items from Wenner West to Wenner East inventory.Dispenses tools to mechanics upon request and maintains records of tools issued and returnedDispenses tools with Preventive Maintenance Work Orders.Returns tools to proper locations.Conducts a daily random audit of tools to make sure that computer quantities match those in tool crib.Inspects and measures tools daily for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to Tool Inventory Supervisor.Receives, unpacks and stores incoming tools and equipment.Marks and identifies tools.Repairs, services and lubricates tools where necessary.Prepares Purchase Requisitions to replace lost or broken tools.Recommends tool purchases to maintain equipment.QUALIFICATIONS:3-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
