Job Description:
As a school bus driver, you are responsible for bringing children to and from school, ensuring timely pick-up and safe drop-off in the process. In any area, driver's may provide transportation for events, including field trips, during and outside of school hours. While you are on the road, you are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for everyone inside the bus.transport students to and from school and special events.
Starting Salary:
$23.59/hour

The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.)Adhere to an assigned scheduleArrive at pick-up and drop-off points in a timely mannerEnsure the safety of all bus passengersComplete maintenance records and incident reportsMaintain a high standard of cleanliness inside the busConduct daily inspections of the vehicle prior to operationRecognize and report any required bus maintenanceAttend transportation meetings and other meetings as appropriate.Support and enforce policies as established by the school district.Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as appropriate as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.
