Lead and manage nursing staff within the Adult Psychiatric unit, including recruitment, orientation, scheduling, and performance assessment.Ensure the highest standards of patient-centered psychiatric care by overseeing daily patient care activities and supporting therapeutic interventions.Manage day-to-day operations within the Adult Psych unit, including resource allocation, compliance with safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.Uphold hospital and regulatory policies to maintain accreditation and compliance with state and federal standards in psychiatric care.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care, optimize therapeutic interventions, and ensure a cohesive approach to mental health services.Candidate requirements
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health care, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (PMH-BC) are preferred.
