We love working together, we love what we do, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and take on important responsibilities to help Bitwise scale. You will report to the Director of Controls and Fund Administration and will be responsible for the review and production of all financial statement reporting across the Bitwise suite of products. You will also work closely with various outsourced Fund Administrators. The ideal candidate has expertise in the production of both Registered and Private Fund Financial Statements, with Hedge Fund reporting a plus.
What You Will DoProduce and review all Bitwise Fund financial statements, including registered ‘40 Act products, ‘33 Act products, Hedge Fund products, and Private Funds
Help coordinate the financial statement process and interface with Legal and Fund auditors to answer questions and resolve issues
Prepare and review regulatory filings such as SEC Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and ADV, as well as NFA filings
Build out financial reporting documentation and checklists, including CUEC checklists, during non-financial reporting periods
Oversee daily NAV calculation and fund accounting activities for the Bitwise suite of products
Review daily, monthly and ad hoc requests for fund information
Calculate and facilitate payment of monthly management fees and performance fees and help to prepare summary reports and budgets for Senior Management
Assist in the preparation of monthly Fund Performance Reports
Help to improve our current review process (in Excel) and implement new operational efficiencies
Take on special projects as needed, with a focus on automation and efficiency
Who You Are5-8 years of fund accounting, audit and/or administration experience
You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with very strong Excel skills
You are a reliable self-starter, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
You are comfortable dealing with various internal and external service providers
You are organized, efficient, and results-oriented, with robust analytical and critical thinking skills
You are able to work independently and also as part of a team
Your style is like ours: high-energy, positive, caring, deliberate, self-aware, curious and open-minded. What We OfferCompensation: $150,000-$175,000 salary + equity
