This policy applies to all employment practices within our organization.Job DescriptionThe US Credit Analyst role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in New York City and be involved in building a new US asset management business.The US Credit Analyst will focus on covering US leveraged loan issuers primarily within CLO investment vehicles. The US Credit Analyst will be an active member of the investment team and be responsible for all aspects of the investment process including investment origination, underwriting, monitoring, and trade recommendations.Core ResponsibilitiesIdentify investment opportunities in primary and secondary US leveraged loan markets utilizing deep credit analysis and relative value assessmentBuild detailed cash flow models and develop in-depth knowledge of select industry sectorsMonitor ongoing credit and market performance to formulate timely trade recommendationsDevelop relationships with sell side analysts and capital markets teams to enhance investment processKey QualificationsBachelor's degree4+ years of financial industry experience including credit research, leveraged finance or private equityStrong communication skills combined with excellent analytical and financial modelling skillsDeep understanding of leveraged loans and high yield bonds including issuers, industries, debt structures and legal documentationDemonstrated ability to take initiative and thrive in a flat team-based environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the USCompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $200,000, which is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. Base salary for a candidate will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including the candidate's qualifications, experience, training, education, skills and other job-related factors. Polus reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
