Regional Directo r for our homeless shelter.
Supporting independence,
and community inclusion, S:US’ Homeless Services division promotes person-centered services that focus on recovery. The Regional Director will provide day to day (varies by division) strategic guidance to ensure that the Homeless Services is fully executing on all client care expectations. The Regional Director under the guidance of the Vice President or Sr. Regional Director will partner with S:US funders, oversite agencies, and executive leadership to elevate the S:US service deliveries to all stakeholders. They are highly influential in managing all program services including advocacy, housing, case management, and access to other essential services as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership
Works under limited supervision of the Vice President or Sr. Regional Director requiring higher planning skills and project management skills.
Manages and coaches shelter program directors to develop leadership skills and customizes development plans for each individual to optimize consistent competencies throughout their scope of accountability.
Lead directors in adapting and improving service models to be responsive to a changing environment.
Participate in and monitor the recruitment, hiring, and talent development.
Provide program and professional supervision, lead required staff and project management team meetings and trainings, monitor program outcomes.
Participate in division management meetings as needed and facilitate staff meetings and case conferences as appropriate.
Manages special projects and all other assignments as determined by the Vice President or Sr. Regional Director.
Confirms services are delivered in accordance with agency culture, mission, vision and values.
Data Accountability
Develop, monitors and evaluates all program work plans, outputs and outcomes to ensure goals are met. Identify and implement actions to improve goal attainment as necessary.
Develop and monitor data collection to report consumer outcomes and service effectiveness.
Compliance
Monitors that each program is meeting regulatory requirements, modeling best practices and integrating new tools and initiatives into its work model.
Enforce corporate compliance protocols, SUS employee policies, procedures, protocols, and incident management policies, procedures and protocols.
Timely submission of reports, inquiries, response to internal and external stakeholders
Operations
Maintain accountability and operation within established budget.
Remains current and updated on new regulations, policies, industry trends, and best practices.
Monitors quality standards and consumer satisfaction are met and sustained.
Provide routine managerial oversight of programs including expenditure approval, timesheet approval, report submission, staff hiring and performance appraisal, etc.
Develop program policy & procedures governing the provision of services to consumers and day to day program operations.
Monitor the provision of and documentation of all services provided to consumers.
Oversight of training and program specific orientation for new hires
External Relations
Represents the agency and programs and in a professional manner to funders, consumers, potential consumers, referring agencies, network members, etc.
Market and promote agency programs and services to potential referral sources to maximize capacity.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
LMSW required, Master’s degree in related field will be considered
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of managerial experience in a professional function.
Leadership capability to manage, coach, and develop Program Directors.
Ability to contribute to and implement work systems for the efficient running of an operation.
Ability to provide direction and focus on the implementation of new initiatives.
