Days (Mon - Fri)Job Description:We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. This is a traveling position where as they are on the road every day like a HVAC tech is and home every night.Medical specialties:• GeriatricsWorking Conditions:Work is performed indoors in an artificially controlled environment. Travel to satellite sites and/or consumer facilities. Exposure to biohazards; necessary precautions i.e., surgical gloves, eyewear and face masks.Roles and Responsibilities:• Educates patients and/or families about preventative care, medical issues, and use of prescribed treatments and/or medications.• Prescribe medications, corrective devices.• Refer patients to physicians when symptoms indicative of systemic disorders, such as arthritis or diabetes, are observed in feet and legs.• Surgically treat conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown nails, tumours, bunions, cysts, and abscesses.• Ensure assistant properly maintains medical equipment.Qualification/Experience:• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program• 1 year Podiatry experience (Preferred)License/Certifications:• Active NP/PA License in the State of North Carolina• Active board certification as an NP/Active board certification as an PA• Active DEA licenseBenefits:• Dental insurance• Employee discount• Flexible schedule• Health insurance• Life insurance• Vision insurance
