Overview

Retina Consultants of Texax (RCTX) is seeking a Physician Liaison who will, under the direction of the Sr. Director of Marketing and Brand Manager, the Physician Liaison serves as a representative of Retina Consultants of Texas, maintaining our existing referring provider relationships, cultivating new business opportunities and executing a multitude of business initiatives.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with the marketing team to increase visibility of services and increase referrals by strategically targeting referral sourcesAnalyze data to determine opportunities for potential growthProblem solving to maintain healthy referral relationshipsOrganizing a plan with adequate research prior to visiting referring providers in the fieldPromote and engage providers in our continuing education eventsPromote RCTX technologies to improve communication with referral sourcesDistributing branded materials to increase brand awarenessProvide educational handouts and resources to improve patient educationPromote RCA Research opportunitiesMonitor competition and gather feedback from referral sourcesThoroughly document and report visits on a weekly basisOther administrative tasks such as mileage, reporting and expensesSkills/Competencies:

Knowledge of the retina/ophthalmology market and basic medical terminologyStrong strategic thinking, communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamQualifications

Education Requirements

High school diploma requiredBachelor's degree preferredExperience Requirements:

Minimum three years outside healthcare service sales experienceProven sales and marketing track recordValid driver's licenseReliable transportationPhysical Abilities:

Ability to drive to multiple locations on a daily/weekly basisAbility to walk through facilities to meet physician and staffAbility to lift and carry marketing material and company laptop
