Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is required

A unique opportunity to join a new and growing team providing team-based care to adults and young people with complex and acute mental and behavioral health issues.Opportunity to help build the program, which focuses on quality of care outcomes while inviting patients into flexible and patient driven care.Daily huddles help provide team ownership of patients among Social Workers, Counselors, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Case Managers, Psychiatrists and Advanced Practice ProvidersExperienced, committed, dynamic and fun teamFlexible options for hour; with options for 32-40 hour a week schedules, split into 10 or 8 hour days. Part-time schedules below 32 hours will also be considered.Position Summary:

Daily collaboration with team members to assist in care plans for patientsConducting and documenting individual and family psychosocial assessments; providing treatment utilizing evidence based practicesProviding patient care coordination through contact with community resources and providing comprehensive discharge planning services.A caring and empathetic member of our team, able to provide services in a manner and language appropriate to the age and comprehensive level of the diverse clients and their families.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:

Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.License/Certifications:

Maine State licensure to practice as a LCSW, LMSW or LCPC is required. Maine State licensure to practice as a LADC and CADC as needed. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation if applicable.Experience:

2+ years of related work experience in a health or mental health setting preferred; depending on client population to be serviced, desired work experience may vary. Prior experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy as related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues is required.Knowledge of social work/ counseling theories, therapies and techniques, as used in individual, family and group treatment, as well as principles of social welfare are required
