About this role:

As a PRN OBGYN Physician at St. James Healthcare, you'll work collaboratively with other providers, to deliver top-notch care and best patient experience.

This PRN role is an employed "as needed" role that focuses on inpatient call at St. James Hospital in Butte, MT.

Call shifts are 24 hours in the hospital (attend deliveries, perform emergency C-sections, round on patients, etc.).

You would provide Obstetrics and Gynecologic care to a wide range of patients.

You will be a part of the Obstetric and Gynecology Care team in Butte, MT.

You will work in a well established practice that has supportive colleagues, consulting physicians, and nursing staff.

You would complete charts electronically in EPIC.

You would work closely as needed with our Hospitalist team in our 11 bed ICU.

What you’ll bring:

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.

Residency training Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.

Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Passion for rural OBGYN care.

Inpatient call experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including EPIC/eSummit and Microsoft products.

The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.
