Physical Therapists are responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment, formulation of a treatment plan and goals, and administration of the physical therapy treatments.They will be active in inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff.What you'll do:1:1 Patient care with one 45 min appointment every hour.Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient's diagnosis.Develop treatment plans, including reassess and revise every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient's progress.Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis.Demonstrates use of physical therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis.Documents progress reports for patients in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement.In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, will share with other PTs coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays (generally one holiday per year and Sunday coverage 6-8 times per year).Who you are:Enjoy working as a team and collaborating with co-workers for best patient outcomesEnjoy working with people and thrive in a social atmosphereEager to motivate, goal-oriented, able to stay positive and patientA good listener and astute observerQualifications:Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy and a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California.American Heart Association or client BLS certification required.Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.Minimum of one year PT experience preferred.Job Information:Will work in our Mammoth Lakes, CA outpatient clinic.
