Responsibilities
Duties:
Under the direction of a physician, provides direct patient care including gathering detailed history and performing physical exams
Performs or orders tests and interprets results
Administers therapeutic procedures as directed
Instructs on care and maintains written charts and records on patients
Maintains appropriate manual and electronic records (EMR)
Outpatient Volume: 10 or more patient seen daily
Typical work week is Mon-Fri , 40 hours weekly, clinic only
Qualifications
Minimum
Graduate of an accredited program with a Master's degree in Nursing
Compact state or Arizona RN license
Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal/written communication abilities
Must demonstrate effective task prioritization skills and independent problem solving abilities
Valid DEA registration
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider
Preferred
PREFERRED: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Pay Range
$42.00 - $72.00 /hour
