A community health center in the Metrowest suburbs of Boston is looking for an experienced physician to serve as Medical Director. The center has three medical facilities and school-based centers and serves over 26,000 patients.
About the position:
The Medical Director will spend part of their time overseeing the Provider staff and maintaining a patient panel of their own.The Medical Director's weekly schedule will include onsite and remote hours.Support staff includes Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Medical Interpreters, Front-Desk Administrators, and Community Health Workers.In addition to Primary Care, the clinic offers Dentistry, Optometry, Lab, Pharmacy, and Behavioral and mental Health services.Non-profit organizationCertified as a patient-centered medical home by the NCQANextGen EMRThe patient population is ethnically, culturally, and racially diverseFluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus; however, it is not required as we have interpretersBase salary commensurate with experience plus annual incentiveAbout the location:
