Senior Underwriter, Energy Transition

As part of our commitment to sustainability and AXA’s bold ambitions to decarbonize its underwriting portfolio, we are looking for experienced energy underwriters to help support our clients as they transition to cleaner and greener technologies and move away from carbon intensive energy sources. Insurance is an enabler of global economic activity, playing a critical role in supporting clients to manage energy transition-related risks. At AXA, we have committed to reducing the absolute carbon emissions of our largest corporate accounts and together we are strengthening the role we play as a key partner through engagement with those clients, helping them to transition to low carbon business models, and taking a stewardship approach to climate.
If you’re passionate about climate change and sustainability and are committed to helping businesses future proof their commercial activities by actively reducing their impact on the planet, apply now to join the AXA XL team.
This role will be focused on underwriting Property risks for North American-based Insureds, as well as helping to think broadly about other lines of coverage to support clients throughout their transition journey.
Preferred locations are Houston, Dallas, and Austin although outstanding Broker relations will be a plus for the right candidate.
