This is a part-time, hourly position working Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 2 PM. It pays $21 per hour, based on your experience. Your QualificationsTo be a good fit for the Program Assistant opportunity, you will have:

A high school diploma or GED.1+ years of experience in the social services field(group home, childcare, medical assistant, etc.). We may also consider candidates with college coursework in psychology, social science or similar.A genuine desire to work with adolescents.An understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for mental health disorders with co-occurring substance abuse issues.Knowledge of regulations concerning mental health treatment.Working knowledge of substance abuse, mental health disorders, and treatment procedures for such illnesses.Good judgment, a positive attitude, dependability and confidentialityFirst aid and CPR certification.Good verbal and written communication skills.Basic computer skills, including Internet, email, and MS Word.Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

This position requires a valid California drivers license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards. In addition, you must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, live scan, physical and TB test to work at the facility.
