Rogers Group is seeking a Night Haul Truck Driver/Maintenance person to fill the night shift position at our Springdale Quarry located in Springdale, Arkansas. The successful candidate will have experience with heavy equipment and possibly some background in maintenance with a mechanical aptitude. Hours of operation must be flexible and will require night and weekend work as well. Overtime is required as needed. Time will be divided between operating haul truck and assisting with plant maintenance
Job Details:Full TimeNight ShiftAverage starting pay range $22-$24, depending on maintenance experience. Higher experience and education level could result in higher starting pay.Job Responsibilities:
Operating haul trucks to move overburden.Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.Perform servicing and maintenance on equipment as trained and directed by management.Assist with plant maintenance including crushers, conveyors and screens.Effective communication skills applicable to position.Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.Properly follow all company policies and MSHA Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.Qualifications:
Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.Previous experience operating haul truckMechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens is preferred but not required.Experience in fabricating, cutting, and stick and MIG welding is a plusDemonstrated ability to provide leadership, direction, and work planning for plant maintenance, fabrication, and heavy repair projects.Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.
