Luv Logistics Corporation is seeking motivated and driven individuals to join our team as
Freight Agents . In this role, you will work closely with an experienced Freight Broker who will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support as you grow your portfolio. As a Freight Agent, you will be responsible for soliciting new clients, booking freight loads, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
This is an exciting sales-based opportunity for candidates who are dedicated, well-spoken, and financially secure, and who are ready to dive into a rewarding and commission-based role.
This is a full-time, commission-only
position , providing significant income potential through a generous commission structure. You will start as an independent contractor, with the possibility of transitioning to employee status based on performance.Role & ResponsibilitiesOverview
You'll get out of this what you put into it; if you cannot voluntarily work full-time hours during the hours the sun is shining in the United States, you will not be successful and this position is not for you.Engage in cold calling, targeting businesses that manufacture, distribute, or warehouse goods.Make 60 to 100 calls daily to new prospects.Develop and manage your own customer and carrier base.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Sales and Client Development:
Prospect and cold-call potential clients to secure new business.Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and logistics partners.Identify and develop leads to expand the company's customer base.
Load Booking and Coordination:
Negotiate rates with clients and carriers to book freight loads.Coordinate and manage shipments from pick-up to delivery, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery solutions.Track shipments and communicate updates with clients and carriers as needed.
Carrier Management:
Develop relationships with carriers and manage day-to-day interactions.Ensure that carriers meet company standards for safety, performance, and reliability.
Customer Service:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues or concerns related to freight movement.Provide excellent customer service to both clients and carriers to maintain long-term relationships.
Recordkeeping and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all transactions, shipments, and communications.Ensure that all paperwork, contracts, and billing are processed in a timely manner.
Performance Metrics:
Meet weekly and monthly performance metrics, including but not limited to:
Minimum
60 meaningful sales calls per day .Securing
one new customer
within the first six months, and then one new customer per month thereafter.Coordinating and delivering
at least one load per week by month six .

Required:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyFinancial stable to support a commission-based incomePhenomenal problem-solving skills-ability to think outside the boxEven-tempered, remain cool under pressureTech-savvy-comfortable with various technologies, adept at learning new tools, and able to troubleshoot common issues3 years of experience in the logistics industry (in most capacities)Knowledge of carrier and industry regulations and requirementsExcellent communication and customer service skillsPhenomenal problem-solving skills-ability to think outside the boxConfident under pressure and professionally assertive when necessaryAbility to build and maintain strong relationships, customers, carriers, and teammatesAbility to work independently and remotelyQuiet working environmentModern Windows desktop/laptop (less than 3 years old) with 2 or more large (19"+) monitorsModern Android or Apple smartphoneHigh-definition web cameraHeadset with noise-canceling microphoneHigh-speed internet connection (100+ Mbps)Preferred:
