Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our client's healthcare team at a hospital in the bay area of California. As an FNP, you will play a vital role in providing primary care services to individuals and families in our community, making you a crucial part of the team.

Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.Ordered and interpreted diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate, adhering to state regulations and hospital protocols.Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including specialists, to ensure holistic, integrated patient care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to developing clinical protocols and guidelines.Stay current with advances in healthcare practices and regulations through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from a recognized certifying body.Active and unrestricted license to practice as a California nurse Practitioner.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an FNP, preferably in primary care or a similar setting.Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach to care.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping.Commitment to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.Willingness to reside in or relocate to the Northern California area.
