Utility Driver (Broadcast Media)

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is looking for a full-time Utility Driver/Technician (UDT) to operate BMG's vehicle fleet to transport broadcast equipment to and from specified destinations across the U.S and work as a production utility. After training by BMG, and not operating BMG's vehicles, the UDT will act as a production utility loading/ unloading broadcast equipment, operating master control, prompter, and other various broadcast positions.
MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION TRUCKS AND HAVE A T LEAST A CDL LICENSE
Essential Functions:
Operate and drive BMG trucks, vans, trailers to production locations around the countryWhile on location, assist with loading and unloading of company vehicles and assist the set-up of productionsMaintaining the BMG vehicle fleet including maintenance, having the vehicles cleaned and stay up to date with tags & registrationsConduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations of equipmentWhen not traveling, assist with the equipment organization in the Broadcast Operation Center warehouseWhen not traveling, assist the production and engineering team on various projects for quality control purposesWrite a weekly report summarizing the activities and goals for the upcoming week, due each Friday by 5pmTHIS ROLE INVOLVES FREQUENT TRAVEL ACROSS THE USA TO OUR OTHER SERVICE LOCATIONS
Position Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Office & ExcelProactive and hardworking with a strong desire to succeedAbility to work in a fast paced, start-up environmentDetail oriented and organizedGreat team player
