Top SecretAerospaceCityEl SegundoStateCaliforniaCountryUnited StatesJob DescriptionENSCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead efforts supporting the Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/BC) portfolio. In this Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) role in El Segundo, CA, the essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Work on high-visibility, mission critical programs and perform all functional duties independently.- Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.- Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.- Ability to understand complex cost, schedule, and performance data, and make simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action.- Lead efforts to build and manage acquisition documentation, interface with contracting and financial managers, and lead program execution.Qualifications Required (Skills)-BS/BA with more than 18 years of experience; MS/MA with more than 16 years; PHD or JD with more than 8 years- Experience with successful delivery of a program to a customer or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM.- Experience managing the balance of technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance on large program(s).- Extensive knowledge of Department of Defense operations and policies.- Can guide and direct the internal cross-functional team.- Experience developing program-specific processes, procedures, techniques, or tools.- Requires systems engineering or detailed technical approach involving trade studies, risk mitigation or complex schedule.- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.- Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
