Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and shipping items, packaging and labeling products, and inspecting parts for deficiencies or breakages.
Responsibilities
Prepare and ship items for delivery, package, label, and wrap goods according to shipping orders and management on a daily basis.
Fill customer orders in accordance with packing lists and place a copy with the merchandise for shipment.
Inspect merchandise for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
Organize merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.
Receive and examine incoming shipments, route items to appropriate areas, and execute shipments as required.
Stock merchandise in the warehouse, including utilizing equipment and lifting and carrying merchandise to place in storage areas.
Fill in with other warehouse duties when all shipping and receiving is completed for the day.
Maintain a neat and orderly workplace at all times, including moving pallets, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
Use basic computer skills to print and pull ticket orders for products.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
2 years of shipping and receiving experience
2 years of warehouse experience packaging and labeling products
1 year of visual inspection of parts
Basic computer skills necessary for printing and pulling ticket orders
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with pallet jacks and order selecting
Attention to detail for inspecting and labeling shipments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
