Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, growth-minded and customer-centric Commercial Loan Servicing Lead to join our Loan Servicing team. Based in our Main Office in South Easton, MA and under the management of the VP, Loan Servicing and in collaboration with the Loan Servicing Manager, this role provides loan servicing support for all areas of Commercial, Residential and Consumer lending by performing and monitoring all loan servicing-related tasks and supporting the day-to-day operations of the team ensuring work prioritization, accuracy and quality standards are met.. This role would have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of 2 days in office (Tuesdays & Thursday) and 3 days at home (Monday, Wednesday & Friday).

Essential Job Functions

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

In accordance with Bank's loan approval and documentation process, completes loan funding, boarding to core, wires, extensions/ renewals/ modifications/ construction conversions, interest rate adjustments, UCC filings, discharges/ terminations, advances, payments/payoffs/partial releases, charge-offs, tax/hazard/flood/PMI escrow processing and tracking, tracks/perfects vehicle titles, end of interest period and end of construction conversions, borrowing base updates.Processes and reconciles investor payments, interest accruals/adjustments, rate index changes, payment of invoices and completes complex loan research/resolution to ensure accuracy on core system and customer billing.Maintains all elements and conducts ongoing analysis of SWAP loans and the construction loan portfolio.Conducts routine quality control reviews of all commercial loan maintenance, corresponding with all applicable stakeholders to have post-closing issues resolved in a timely manner.Responsible for tracking and maintaining all legal documents including imaging and QC along with tracking all missing documents.Examines data associated with Total Relationship Exposure activities and links relationships to loan and deposit accounts in core system.Ensures timely and accurate processing of all ongoing yearly escrow analyses and PMI notices. Prepares and conducts quality control review of annual flood and insurance reviews, end of interest only conversions and construction conversions.Utilizes advanced problem-solving techniques to identify the root cause of discrepancies and develops action plans to resolve issues quickly while working to develop automation strategies to optimize team and loan performance to minimize losses.Prepares, reviews, and assembles new, renewed, and modified loan documents for commercial and business loan products, which include but are not limited to secured and unsecured loans, commitments, lines of credit, letters of credit, interim construction and participations/syndications.Prepares and processes partial release, payoff, and discharge requests.Prepares and images commercial files as part of the review process.Performs daily loan file maintenance balancing of commercial financial transactions.Enters loan exceptions and covenants into the exception tracking system.Performs loan servicing responsibilities including payments, advances, and preparing applicable notifications to internal and external customers.Works to support the Collections Manager by completing any collections related core maintenance and tracking.Works to identify team strengths and delegates projects accordingly.Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by resolving complex loan servicing inquiries and complaints in a timely manner and meeting service level agreements for documentation processing.Ensures procedures are kept up to date and are reviewed and approved by team, management and compliance as applicable.Stays informed of all bank policies, procedures, guidelines and philosophies. Ensures on-going compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and ensuring adherence to all aspects of these regulations.Other duties as assigned.Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor's degree or Associate degree coupled with equivalent work experience required.Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the banking industry and 2 years of progressive experience working within Loan Servicing required.Prior supervisory experience preferably within an operations or banking environment required.In-depth knowledge of bank operations & compliance standards within Consumer, Residential and Commercial loan areas of the bank.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required; prior experience with COCC a plus.Prior experience with Freddie Mac and Power BI highly preferred.Excellent client service and communications skills, both written and verbal.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and aptitude for figures.Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve problems.Ability to consistently contribute to a positive team morale and balance team and individual responsibilities.Capable of multi-tasking with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency to meet time deadlines.

Physical Demands

This position is an office-based position in terms of physical demand. Employees are expected to be able to operate their fingers and hands to perform functions such as typing, writing, and filing. Employees must also be able to move throughout the office with ease while also being able to sit for extended periods of time. Employees must be able to see and hear in an office setting that may include background noise around one's workspace. While this job is clerical, there are instances in which employees must be able to transport up to twenty pounds.
