Duties & Responsibilities

Month End Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly journal entries for Corporate.* Review monthly journal entries for Ontario and Anaheim.* Account analysis and reconciliations for various GL and subsidiary ledgers for Corporate.* Support the Financial Controller in reviewing the overall financial accuracy for all the assigned locations (Ontario and Anaheim). Review account analysis and reconciliations for various GL and subsidiary ledgers.* Support the Financial Controller in the annual external audit and provide needed information.* Participate in the preparation of the Consolidated Financials and Month End reporting in accordance with GAAP accounting standards.* Prepare AR reserve calculation and allocate accordingly.* Review AP and AR Aging for accuracy and ensure reconciliation to GL.* Review Vendor/Customer Credit Applications.* Assist with processing capital expenditures in accordance with company policy.
Quarterly & Yearly Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing quarterly tax estimates with the external tax preparer.* Prepare Sales and Use Tax Filings.* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (business tax, property tax, etc.).* Lead any governmental audits.* Oversee Workers Comp insurance renewal.* Prepare, review and submit US Census Bureau Surveys.
Performs other related duties as requested or assigned
* Track, approve and reconcile HR A-line cards.* Assist and support other members of the Company as assigned/needed.* Manage the team's daily tasks by offering guidance, training, and support to foster their professional growth and development. Assign tasks, establish priorities, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.* Manage the team of accounting professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.* Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.* Prepare ad hoc analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5 years or more of related accounting experience required (public accounting experience is a plus).* Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required.* Certified Public Accountant preferred.* Tax filing experience preferred.* JDE, Bottomline and Planful software experience preferred.* Proficient PC Skills - Word, Excel (Intermediate level), PowerPoint, and Outlook required.* Manufacturing experience with cost accounting experience preferred.* Ability to work collaboratively in teams.* Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and dependable team player.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with accuracy.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* employees.
