:Amcor Rigid Packaging USA, LLC. Senior Internal Auditor in Manchester, Michigan.Responsibilities and duties include:Perform analysis, planning, execution and reporting of audits.Identify risks, control weaknesses and the development of possible solutions.Confer with and manage stakeholders including business contacts and GIA management - including BG Champion.Partner and oversee external co-source resources to execute GIA managed programs.Manage business 'Guest Auditors' in project execution.Manage internship program and develop interns.Prepare and participate in exit interviews with management at the end of each audit to align on the issues and recommendations raised.Prepare draft reports for Management's review.Follow-up with management on audit issues and recommendations to monitor adequacy and timely completion of remediation plans.Coordinate with GIA Europe and Asia Regions team members to ensure coordinated approach for global audit areas.Suggest improvements in the efficiency of the audit process - CI focussed.Advise on financial and budgetary matters for the business, including efficiency and cost-savings opportunities.Leverage leadership capabilities and knowledge sharing with other team members and the broader Amcor business.Collaborate with Group Financial Governance in connection with the SOX Agenda.Document all information pertaining to audit results including findings, opportunities, and observations.Evaluate the overall efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and risk areas in compliance with applicable process standards.Partner with key stakeholder to develop a network within the business.Domestic and international travel up to 50% across the Americas.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as an Internal Auditor, External Auditor, Financial Analyst, or related occupation in a manufacturing environment.Experience to include:3 years performing financial and/or operational reviews;3 years performing controls and/or control testing in compliance with SOX and US GAAP;3 years executing business transactions and/or audit of business processes and assessment of business risks;3 years preparing, analyzing, interpreting and presenting financial and operational data or preparing, analyzing, interpreting and presenting financial and operational audit results;3 years performing accounting, financial services or auditing in the Latin America region, including direct review or application of at least 2 of the following: statutory audit conclusions, local authorities communications, bank reports, customer contracts, supplier contracts, local accounting regulations and principles, management of financial services sub-contractors;3 years reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish in a business context, through performing internal and/or external audits of financial and/or operational procedures and delivering audit conclusions and presentations in both languages, or through preparing, analyzing, interpreting and presenting financial and operational data or financial and operational audit results.
