We are currently seeking an Infection Preventionist. In this dynamic role, you will conduct surveillance activities (as outlined in the organizational Infection Control Plan) and identify and report hospital-acquired infections and reportable diseases and conditions. You will also participate in educational programs as well as provide consultative services to all levels of the organization regarding infection control standards and practices. In addition, you will analyze and trend data collected to assist in planning initiatives that are compatible with organization needs.
We require:
Registered Nurse, Microbiologist, Bachelor's degree requiredThree years post-Bachelor's degree experience in acute patient care setting requiredExcellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills essential.Master's degree in related field preferredCertification in Infection Control preferredExperience as an Infection Preventionist or experience working at a clinical management level preferred
We offer a comprehensive benefits package. Salary range is between $130,000 and $145,000 based upon qualifications and experience.
